9:30 PM Yuka Hunt Quartet

The Yuka Hunt Quartet is a dedicated jazz ensemble which plays
authentic jazz with roots deep in jazz history, with the promise of an
interesting modern jazz listening experience.

Yuka, an accomplished classical pianist, is a serious jazz artist. Her
engaging piano style is influenced by Teddy Wilson and Thelonious Monk
among others. Yuka also sings songs from the great American song book,
revisiting them in a unique way.

This quartet is a special combination of musical personalities, united to revisit classic jazz repertory together.

Lenny Styles, legendary jazz guitarist, is one of the best in New
England. David Landoni, a popular bassist, was formerly with Herb
Pomeroy’s band.

Yuka’s husband, Joe Hunt is a well known jazz drummer, who played
with George Russell, Stan Getz, and Bill Evans.
