Ginger Ibex

Sharon Crumrine's (pianist/composer) earliest influences were Beethoven, whose music alternately rocks the world or moves listeners to tears with its dark lyrical beauty; the Romantic, Classical and Impressionist composers; and the sounds of Middle Eastern modes, Tango and contemporary Rock. Betty Widerski's (6-string mezzo viola) radically eclectic background (Classical gone Irish Punk/Rock/Improv) and endless creative & technical ability on a wild variety of stringed instruments, plus dynamic percussionist Michael Steigman added to the mix, give Ginger Ibex a powerful yet lyrical sound.
Molly Zenobia
Molly Zenobia’s music is soulful, visceral, and vast. She will reconnect you with something that you’ve forgotten about yourself, calling up instincts and memories long buried by the pressures of life. She makes you remember, helps you to work through what was, and guides you to the re-embrace of soul and a sense of self.
10:00 PM Avoxblue
Avoxblue is the brand new solo electronic project of Jimmy Rossi Jr. from The December Sound. Rossi's music combinines atmospheric synth layers with processed drum loops, sweeping string samples and lush effected vocals. Drawing inspiration from such artists as Ulrich Schnauss, Air and Ladytron, Avoxblue creates a sonic experiment by decontructing, remixing and re-building all of the tracks live. The live show is set to a backdrop of abstract video projections which are also composed and edited by Rossi.
