7:30 PM Doug Pet Quintet
The show will feature many of Doug's compositions which are largely inspired by latin and middle-eastern folk music and placed in a contemporary jazz context. The band will also perform arrangements of a few favorite standards. The group's repertoire and sound balances sections of intricate melody and counterpoint with extended moments of improvisation.
