7:00 PM Tim Peck Trio
The Tim Peck Trio returns to the Lily Pad for an intimate evening of contemporary jazz. Ms. Matched, Tim's freshman effort as a band leader, provides much of the material for the band's eclectic set. The Tim Peck Trio serves as a vehicle to explore contemporary improvisational music, using compositions by artists from Faure to Keith Jarret as musical prompts. After studying jazz piano at Skidmore College, Tim brought his passion for music to the Pomfret School where he teaches classes in contemporary music, digital audio technology, and maintains a small teaching studio. Tim is joined by Sean Farias on bass and Miki Matsuki on drums, both in-demand musicians in the Boston area.
