Jyugoya ensemble is an ongoing project of Boston-based, Japanese born composer Reiko Yamada, directing a group of talented international artists. The talented performers, hailing from Canada, France, Japan, Latvia, and Venezuela, meld their diverse musical and cultural influences to create a unique and visionary program. The ensemble is comprised of Mariliana Arvelo - Flamenco dance, Andrew Eng - Violin, Mariko Matsumura - Soprano, Fabrizio Mazzetta - Cello, Synthia Sture - Piano, Reiko Yamada - Composer. The afternoon's program features original compositions written exclusively for the ensemble by composer Reiko Yamada.
