The Simon Brothers
The Simon brothers play acoustic rock 'n' roll, influenced by the likes of Jonathan Richman and the Violent Femmes. Their cover of 'What does a girl do?' by the Shirelles has been known to move female audience members to tears through their earnest and sympathetic conveyance of the songs lyrical content. Their original songs are poppy enough not to alienate anyone's dad, and weird enough that it's still okay to admit to liking them in front of your "cool" friends. The Simon Brothers utilize a ukulele, a classical guitar, and a moe-tucker drum set in their music making.
