koop is a funk/rock band based out of Boston which employs elements of
the jazz idiom to create a very new experience for the listener. The summation
of their collective funky rhythmic abilities within a bed of amazing melody and
diverse instrumentation creates epic tunes which take you from chapter to
chapter always wanting more.
koop is lead by all five members. All musicians take part in the
creative process.
All original koop songs are written as a collective unit and employ
the creative
talents of five exceptional American musicans.
