DNB Trio combines the talents of drummer Jerome Deupree, vibraphonist/percussionist Phil Neighbors and clarinetist Todd Brunel. Drawing from a pallette of jazz pioneers, their unique sound is augmented by electronics and has been guided by a rehearsal process that has shaped a cohesive poly-melodic and poly-rhythmic sound scape. DNB will play jazz standards, original pieces, play free and yet will switch the process immediately when any part feels a need for change. DNB embraces music in all of it’s different forms, relying on spontaneity, defying convention.
