7:45 PM "Year of the Thief" Book Release

Popular online literary journal Thieves Jargon (www.thievesjargon.com) will celebrate the release of their print fiction anthology "Year of the Thief" with readings from four authors appearing in the book:

10:00 PM Either/Orchestra

The ten-piece Either/Orchestra has spending a lot of time over the past two years collaborating with Ethiopian musicians, most recently, Ethiopia's greatest singer, Mahmoud Ahmed, for a pair of concerts in Paris.  Ethiopian songs have become an integral part of the 20 year old band's repertoire.

Now, Russ Gershon and crew are working up a new batch of - yes! - American music, compositions by Gershon and other band members for a new recording to be made this summer.  They will be using a series of dates at the Pad to hone these new tunes.

The Either/Orchestra is:
